death daggers...i mean, icicles

I've been watching these grow since the snow on Christmas eve.  They're getting to be a bit scary.

I snapped a few photos at night, thinking that they might be gone after the sun warmed them up.

But no.  Looks like we've got some new icy friends until spring!

There they are in the daylight, about a week later.
