This is what I was thinking on Election Day

Read the whole thread, if you can. If you're already terrified, you might not need to.

So I guess I'll be calling my representatives all day long.

Side note: I'll be making terrible art to match the terrible political climate. All of it will say "this is not normal." It's a reminder. I'm using it as the cover photo for my Facebook page, and please do take it, don't even bother crediting me with it, just take it and use it wherever you see fit.
So, my new digital art series, "this is not normal" is free for you to use to help remind people that action is necessary right now.
(Why don't I want credit? Artists got carted away in the holocaust.
But the message is more important than the maker.)
So, make your calls. Go to protests. Remind your friends to do the same.
And, please stay safe.

  1. I don't think it's normal, either. Although I have to say, I don't think this art is all that bad, I actually like it :)

Be strong, this too shall pass.

    1. Haha, thank you.
It will pass, but I think we have to put up some kind of fight for it to fade away into something better.

    2. Yes, being strong also means standing up when appropriate.

Also remember the (paraphrased) words of Megan Kelly: The election does not change who you are, who your friends are, what your values are, what you believe in.
